bought it like a month ago in ebay
pay, pay, pay.....

the seller mentioned that the delivery was around 3 days, in most case faster....
happy....

waited for 3 days.....
1 week....

while waiting, i checked the web again if i read it right....
found out....
the shipping to my place should only take $44 (plus insurance)
quickly contact the seller as i paid $77 (plus insurance)
paid for wrong location.....
shit....

the seller was really really really SLOW at replying messages.....
1 messages a day......

the 1st message they say,
i paid the correct amount of shipment.....
yeah right! more money for u!!!
looked it up in google and proved that i lived around the city and shouldn't pay for the country side postage......
gave 'em 3 of postage locator.....

well, for this one they need 2 days to reply....
not including weekends though.....

so at the 9th day of postage, it arrived....
relieved..... really relived....
so happy that i don't really care about the postage thing....

after waiting, the 2nd day i sent them another message asking what happened, what took them so long....
soon after,
they say sorry for the late reply,
saying that the manager said,
sorry that refund is impossible cuz the post office charged them so....

the seller name is buy24-7online
careful when dealing with them!

so, let's move on to the monitor itself....
it was on one of my 1st post....
look for it if u like to c....

so, my opinion
physical look, not bad, i like the crystal look on the bottom part of the monitor
though at 1st it is a bother as it make it hard for ppl to press the button....
other than that it is all good,
i like the black gloss on all four sides!
the lcd itself is great!!
either it is on or off, it still look fantastic!
when its off, it looks like a sleeping beauty,
when its on, the picture's sharpness, colour and contrast is just great!!

when being plugged to ps3 console,
it even able to manage 1080p resolution,
the picture is just flawless, just that i lost 30 lines as it is not the optimum resolution....
but anyway, i dont regret losing 30 lines for such a picture!!
can't believe ur eyes.....

im not a monitor expert,
still a real noobie for a lcd monitor user....
but, my opinion based on my experience and enjoyment is that
this monitor ROCKS!
eventhough i made a wrong payment for the postage and stuff....
i dont regret on buying this great monitor, it is just lovely....

for those who are still looking for ps3 monitor, i suggest....
if u have quite a budget, look for samsung 24"
if u have a limited budget like mine, look for this one!!

last thing is that if u buy it on ebay, careful with that seller!
bought it from that seller as there is no other seller selling this one!

so i started to play this sudoku game
i think most of u guys know how to play this game too

not when u stuck though....

finally bought it last week....
pretty satisfied with the quality!
clear sound even with the bass max out,
matrix mode that could make a stereo sound become surround sound

thinking back, there was some rumor that matrix mode only spread out the sound to all five satellite speaker....
made me think that it was true...
it was not, thankfully...
it work like a magic, great i say....
dunno how they managed to make it,
but it was cool...
anyway it is still a simulation from the real one,
i believe it is still much better than the simulated


max volume is great for small room like mine is great!!
even i only dared to try it until 80%, the sound is still crystal clear
the woofer can shake the whole room and ur next doors too!!

Tampons contain two things that are potentially harmf ul: Rayon (for
absorbency), and dioxin (a chemical used in bleaching the products). The
tampon industry is convinced that we, as women, need bleached white
products in order to view the product as pure and clean. The problem
here is that the dioxin, which is produced in this bleaching process,
can lead to very harmful problems for a woman. Dioxin is potentially
carcinogenic cancer-associated)and is toxic to the immune and
reproductive systems. It has also been linked to endometriosis and lower
sperm counts for men. For both sexes, it breaks down the immune system.


Last September, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that
there really is no set 'acceptable' level of exposure to dioxin given
that it is cumulative and slow to disintegrate. The real danger comes

Industry'). I'd say using about 4-5 tampons a day, five days a month,
for 38 menstruating years is 'repeated contact', wouldn't y! ou? Rayon
contributes to the danger of tampons and dioxin because it is a highly
absorbent substance. Therefore, when fibers from the tampons are left
behind in the vagina (as usually occurs), it creates a breeding ground
for the dioxin. It also stays in a lot longer than it would with just
cotton tampons. This is also the reason why TSS (toxic shock syndrome)
occurs.

WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVES?

Using feminine hygiene products that aren't bleached and that are all
cotton. Other feminine hygiene products
(pads/napkins) contain dioxin as well, but they are not nearly as
dangerous since they are not in direct contact with the vagina. The
pads/napkins need to stop being bleached, but, obviously, tampons are
the most dangerous.


So, what can you do if you can't give up using tampons? Use tampons that
are made from 100% cotton, and that are UNBLEACHED. Unfortunately, there
are very few compani! es that make these safe tampons. They are usually
only found in health food stores.


Countries all over the world ( Sweden , Germany , British Columbia , etc.)
have demanded a switch to this safer tampon, while the U.S. has decided
to keep us in the dark about it. In 1989, activists in England mounted a
campaign against chlorine bleaching. Six weeks and 50,000 letters later,
the makers of sanitary products switched to oxygen bleaching (one of the
green methods available) (MS magazine, May/June 1995).

WHAT TO DO NOW:
Tell people. Everyone. Inform them. We are being manipulated by this
industry and the government, let's do something about it! Please write
to the companies: Tampax(Tambrands), Playtex, O.B., Kotex. Call the 800
numbers listed on the boxes. Let them know that we demand a safe product
ALL COTTON UNBLEACHED TAMPONS.

In Search of the Monitor

Bought a ps3 around last month for around $610 (from ebay + postage)
80gb, ntsc (for ps2)

Connected everything, turned on the ps3
monitor (benq fp92W) showed nothing, just black, darkness....
Bring the ps3 to next door, works great (he used Samsung 223BW)
Turns out that my monitor is too old (does not support hdcp)

So i bought a vga box from ebay (around $60)
Received it, tested it....
Works great, but....
The highest resolution = standard resolution
Looks almost like ps1
Broken heart....

Looks for monitor in msy...
Done research in internet....
Found Asus VW222u,
Visited msy, asked for the item.....
"Sorry all the monitor above 19" is not available"
Asked when will the next shipment,
"I don't know" (said it in a bit rude way)

Waited for 2 weeks....
Visit msy again...
Answer was pretty much the same as "don't know"
Tried email,
Said the only brand available is "LG, Viewsonic and Acer"
Patience gone...

Looked in ebay....

Feels really cheated.....

Visited the All-phones in Rundle Mall,
Asked the guy if the $49 Optus cap plan include international call, said yes
Asked again if it include international call and said yes (again)
Signed optus $49 cap plan contract on the 13th of July in All-phones, the bill never come.....

Called the Optus customer service on the end of August,
Said the contract started on 21st of August.....
By then, I know that I'm able to use my phone already....
So, I called my parents and friends overseas for over 2 hours......

Bill received on 17th of September.....
Guess what??
"Total amount due (including GST): $195.27"

Visited Optus shop the next day to verify if their $49 cap plan include International call
Said NO, and showed me the brochure.....
Went back to All-Phones to look for this 'Genius' and he was lucky....
So pretend not knowing anything, asked if $49 Optus Cap plan include international call
This time, the girl is clever, she said NO
Told me that other provider like 3 give $40 balance more and include international call
Told her my problem
Asked me to call customer service and try if able to work something out...
Speechless.....
